I am selling my 1966 VW Beetle which I have owned for sixteen years (sadly new job and relocation forces sale).

Java Green which I have restored over the years to a really good honest car.

1776cc engine which as of writing has done 535 miles and runs and sounds like a dream (I can email you all the parts used if required).

Current mileage on the clock is 26. 60. I have Mot's indicating 83. 00 in the 1990'S.

Twin Webber IDF's. oil temperature gauge. CSP front disc brakes. Converted to dual master brake cylinder. CSP 4 into 1 Python merged exhaust system. Grant wood Pontaic steering wheel. Flat4 elimator gear stick and new car seatcovers.

It is lowered all around but it would be fairly easy to raise the height. It would also be fairly easy to take some parts off and return it to a more original specification. I can direct you to a really trust worthy specialist if required.

I have Wax-oiled all the nooks and crannies and I have always used copper grease when assembling parts. I have all receipts (scarey) and Mot's since I acquired the vehicle.

There are a few points that I would like to raise so everyone gets a true reflection of the condition.

The main issue is the paint. it has been resprayed over the years by myself and the previous owners in cellouse which is starting to crack a little on passenger door . oth wings. the engine lid and bonnet. Its not too bad and I have touched it up with a really tiny brush so its terribly noticeable. Also the roof was cracking very badly so I stripped it back to bare metal and re-sprayed it so that is done. however I only did the main area and tried to feather it in but you can see a slight rim where there's a slight difference in levels. There is also a very small dent in the bonnet when I had left my tool box open as I had closed it. Lastly the headliner looks pretty good. but is hand made by me and the door cards are painted.

Apart from those points the car has no rust and is in good running condition.

Please email me if you require any further details and if you would like to view. I will be pleased to take for a drive but would rather it would be me at the wheel. I hope you can appreciate that in the context of how many hundreds of hours I have put into restoring the car.

Happy bidding :)
