I have decided to sell my VW Karmann Ghia 1971 California car. It was registered here in the UK 11-09-1997. I purchased the vehicle back in 2011 knowing that it did require some welding in the usual lower places such as new sills. new lower wings to sills. front air duct box sections. All the parts required on shown available on VW Heritage website. There is some surface rust here and there I have never got round to start the repairs so selling as I purchased it in 2011. The floor pans are good and the upper body panels are good. The engine and transmission is very good runs sweet. starts easy and gearbox good and smooth. It is running on a new twin choke down draft Weber carb kit and we have the original carb and air filter system included with the sale of the car. Mileage on clock 61000. The V5C is here in our name with a host of invoices from the previous owner. So I am selling the car as a project it will require the repairs to pass an MOT. Will require trailer to collect.
