For sale I have my Citroen HY van which is painted in police colors.
I got this vehicle direct from south of France with an intention of undertaking the renovation work and having a stunning example of this classic van. My partner and I was planning on doing a champagne van for shows and the like but after much thought we have decided that we dont have the time to do the renovations or the running of a business which today seem to be so popular.
I had a verbal quotation from a restoration company based in the UK and they quoted £7. 00 - £9. 00 to fully restore this van back to its original glory.
Once complete these vehicles are worth a fortune! I have seen some in excess of £25. 00!!! and I have seen some very poor renovated vehicles in the high teens.
This is truly a good investment vehicle. The prices on these are rising on a annual basis.
Anyway back to the vehicle. it starts on the key and drives. the brakes need some TLC.
The panel work is rusty and does need repairing but as I priced it up it is cheaper to buy new panels from the web than to repair whats already there (this was part of the 7/9 k quote)
I am looking for a quick sale as I need the funds to go towards my wedding. I do not have the time to do this van up at the moment and I need to sell it to release my money tied up in it.
