1960 VAUXHALL CRESTA EASY PROJECT ROCKABILLY 50's CRUISER AMERICAN STYLE CLASSIC

Hello and welcome to my advert.  
Here we have a lovely 1960 Vauxhall Cresta Automatic.
Selling purely as I was offered a Jensen Interceptor the same day I bought this car. So in order to raise funds she must go.  
She is two tone blue. inside and out.  
She starts on the button and sounds beautiful. Puts our Zodiac to shame. sounds much more refined dare I say. No smoke. no overheating and pulls strong.
The car does drive. However. it slips in second and third gear. A real shame as it feels great to drive. Does not slip in first or reverse at all??
The interior is original. Not perfect but very period. The front seat is cracked and has some tears. the rear has age cracks but in better condition. The door cards snd dash pad are original and excellent!
The brakes work well but will require servicing prior to MOT.
Underneath she is remarkable. These cars were renowned for  tin weevil back in the day. So to have a very solid example 50 years on in exceptional. The only areas are two small sections on each inner sill either side.  
The boot floor is rot free. as is the spare wheel well. The chassis is rot free and floor panels are as new.
The car is from what I can tell is filler free. The rear arches/quarter panels/doors are all solid steel and as untouched as you could possibly imagine. For example the rear quarter panel underside wrap under section is totally intact and rot free.  
Paint is not great. But passable. Would buff up but she deserves a nice paint job in my opinion.  
A real gem this one.
All the electrics seem to work. Including the roof clock!
The front wings are fibreglass but fit well. One has small damage sadly. Easily repairable tho.
The wrap around screen corner sections are immaculate.  
All windows wind up and down. however two passenger doors do not open. Simple fix.  
Chrome is nice enough. except front middle section of bumper.  The rear bumper is pitted but useable.
The car is a project. Do not think any different. Don't expect to be attending next weeks local car show. Then again. don't cancel out the one at the end of September. That one may be possible dependant on your skills.  
Basically a beautiful. rare. solid old car that needs easy recommissioning/light restoration.  
Can deliver anywhere for £1 a loaded mile. This is to be paid in advance. But please ask first.  
May consider p/x against classic ford. Why? Within eBay rules.
