Current customer rating:
We are delighted to offer this superb driving. hugely reliable Land Rover Series III onto the market. The Land Rover has had one owner in France for the past five years and has been driven on a regular basis and kept in excellent mechanical order. The previous French owner bought a LHD VW Microbus from us. drove the Land Rover through Northern France. took a ferry to Portsmouth and then drove over to Dover to meet our driver. The Land Rover was then transported to Yorkshire and the VW made the trip back to France by road reliably.
In June 2011 'The Land Rover Centre' in Huddersfield collected the vehicle from Worcestershire and quickly sold the Land Rover to the previous owner in France. The West Yorkshire 'Landy' specialists carried out a soft top conversion prior to meeting the new owner at Stanstead airport. The Land Rover made the trip to France by road faultlessly and has proven completely reliable. usable and fabulous to own. The Series III Land Rover left the UK freshly serviced. recently MOT tested and with a brand new soft top. exceptional leather seats and in all round lovely condition.
Five years later and now back in the UK. awaiting UK re-registration. the Land Rover is just as good mechanically as when it left. It has been well maintained. nicely used is completely on the button and excellent to drive. The engine is strong. sounds superb and runs perfectly. The gearbox is strong. the brakes and handling all correct and in very good order. The bodywork is strong. rock solid and the chassis exactly the same. Paintwork has aged somewhat and there are signs of general use. just how many Land Rover enthusiasts like it. Importantly there are no rust issues and the paintwork has a lovely patina and presents well. The wheels have been painted Black whilst in France and the hood is still like new. The interior is nicely presented with lovely leather seats. working instruments. clean dashboard and rear compartment. The vehicle will be supplied to its next owner with 12 months MOT. full service. function check and UK registration. This is a very smartly presented Series III that is ideal for regular. or even every day use.
Please note there are additional photographs on our own website (Classic & Sportscar Centre).
