1978 californian MGB LE roadster. 39. 00 miles from new. hasnt been driven for approx 20 years. very straight and rust free body. modified for 5 spd with raised tunnel. converted to RHD. soft top frame and hardtop as pictured. rebuilt and never used 5 psd leyland box. rover 3500 with offenhauser new intake manifold and new holley 4 barrell. shortened holden diff with disk brakes. front disk brakes of an MGB GT v 8. the brakes. crosss member and all suspension have been painted/restored and are ready to bolt in. Some items required for completion include tailshaft and engine mounts. apart from that it appears to all be there inc gauges. windscreen etc. Previous owner had it in his shed for atleast 10 years and had the gearbox rebuilt and did the mods to the chassis and other items. previous to that it was with MG workshops in Launceston who originally imported the car 20 years back. I bought it to use the running gear in a GT but have found a complete v 8 GT that I would like to buy and need to sell to help fund the other car. will assist with freight/transport. will sell chassis/running gear seperate but not parting out small items.
