This Canadian car had a complete off-frame. authentic restoration long before I purchased it about 20 years ago. Recently all the body parts were stripped to bare metal. all fillers removed and what patch work there was professionally replaced using updated techniques. Body panels were straightened so now there is a minimum of filler anywhere in the car. All exterior parts were painted (base/clear) to match the original restoration color. The painted undercarriage. still in great shape. was thoroughly cleaned and is rust free. The interior has all new mohair upholstery dating back to the original restoration. still in excellent condition. The rubber floor mat has hardened over time and although not worn has several tears in it and could be replaced. Original equipment radio does not work but is complete except for the antenna. All gauges are complete but the amp and oil pressure are not indicating. The '37 V 8 has about 7. 00 miles on it since rebuilding. runs excellent. An electric fuel pump has been inconspicuously installed on the frame rail. The bias ply tires are in excellent shape. The mechanical brakes (first year for floating wedges) stop the coupe as well as juice brakes but without the maintenance issues. The chrome and stainless are excellent including the grille work as can be seen on the photos. A red pinstripe. to match the wheels. has been added since photos were taken. The car has lots of flow through air with a front vent. opening windshield and roll down rear window allowing communication with passengers in the rumble seat. This beautifully restored car is gorgeous to look at and fun to drive or show. with lots of zip for country cruising! Exportation of the car to the USA is included in the selling price. Vendor will provide enclosed trailer transport across the US boarder at either end of Lake Ontario (Syracuse or Buffalo). Further transport up to 300 miles can be provided at nominal cost if required. The car is located in Picton. Ontario.
