Our car is left hand drive and is sold NOVA cleared with cancelled Italian registration ex our showroom in East Sussex on an as is. where is basis. so please read the description carefully.

Due to the above. the car will need top be trailered away.

About this car

This is a 3 owner vehicle supplied new to Italy and imported by us. The Fiat had a significant restoration in 2012. and whilst there are no invoices to support the restoration. it is clear that it has been a thorough job.

Bodywork

No rust. Our car is finished in celeste chiaro and the body has had a full rotisserie style restoration with all new main floors. front floor and new body panels were required. completed in 2012.

The paint finish is generally excellent apart from a deep scratch to the bonnet and a smaller scratch to the front wing. The bonnet catch is broken so this cannot be shut.

The passenger door has a hinge pin fault and the door has to be lifted to shut properly. The driver's door check strap is worn so care must be taken on opening this panel.

Otherwise. the body is in fine condition.

The hood was replaced during the restoration and opens and shuts perfectly and is in excellent condition.

Interior

Tbe interior has been retrimmed in cloth and is excellent.

Mechanically

Our 500 has had a mechanical refurbishment in 2012 when anything that needed doing was done. and it drives spot-on.

The only fault we can ascertain is the dynamo charging light doesn't go out. so this requires investigation.

Boot

Nice and sharply presented but no spare wheel or jack or toolkit.

Summary

With other examples being advertised for £15. 00 or more. this is the cheapest restored 500D on the market. and leaves plenty of room for a good profit when the small jobs it needs are completed.
