Very Original 1974 Haflinger. rare 4-door model with BN-2 Heater
Runs well. but seems to be starving of fuel on acceleration. so may need new or electric fuel pump. Minor tuning issue I expect.
Done recently:- Carburettor reconditioned with full kit by CSC in Burwood- Dynastarter full reconditioned. with new dynastarter motor from Haflinger Technik. UK- new plugs. points- new brake shoes. drums machines and new brake cylinders fitted- seat rubber straps all replaced (photos show pre-strap replacement)
The door skins are good. Changes gears relatively easily. Brakes now good. No body rust as far as I can tell. only surface rust. Has been in shed all its life. and mud washed from body regularly to prevent rust. I have a seal kit for the BN 2 heater box. but have not fitted or fired up the heater.
Unfortunately the hood had been lost. Rego papers from when car was first purchased.
Im looking for offers above $8000. Pick up is from Wedderburn Airfield. an easy 1 hours drive south-west of Sydney. Can be driven on to a trailer. Pickup within 7 days of auction close. cash on pickup preferred please.
