THE AMOUNT OF INTEREST IN MY MR2 HAS BEEN AMAZING THERE ARE CURRENTLY A LARGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WATCHING THE MR2 . BEING HONEST EVERYBODY WANTS A BARGAIN I REALISE THIS . nbsp; I HAVE HAD PEOPLE EMAILING ME OFFERING REALLY SILLY MONEY  / SWAPS ETC . PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS MR2 IS ONE OF THE BEST YOU WILL FIND. I REALLY WANT IT TO GO TO A GOOD HOME WHEN I HAND IT OVER.

 

 DUE TO MY WORK COMMITMENTS TAKING A CHANGE OF DIRECTION THE SPACE IN WHICH I STORE MY MR2 HAS BECOME FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE MONEY I WILL HAVE TO LOSE . I HAVE MADE THE DECISION THAT I AM GOING TO LET IT GO TO THE FIRST PERSON WHO GIVES ME £4850. 00 OR NEAREST OFFER .  

 

JUST TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF WHAT IT WOULD COST TO BUILD AN MR2 LIKE THIS . IT WOULD COST YOU £4000 FOR A TURN KEY CONVERSION ON ITS OWN WITHOUT ANY OTHER UPGRADES  . AND IT WOULD MOST LIKELY NOT BE A LOW MILAGE ENGINE LIKE THIS ONE IS .

HERE WE HAVE FOR SALE MY 1994 TOYOTA MR2 T BAR 3. 0 V6 1MZFE . I HAVE UPLOADED PICTURE OF MY MR2 FROM A FEW WEEKS AGO . ITS RAINING OUTSIDE TODAY . SO I WILL TAKE MORE TOMORROW IF ITS DRY . BUT THESE WILL GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF THE CAR FOR NOW.   

 

I HAVE OWNED THIS MR2 FOR 5 YRS AND I HAVE LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF OWNERSHIP.

 

 THE CAR HAS UNDER GONE A FULL ENGINE CONVERSION. THE ENGINE CAME FROM THE FAMOUS TOYOTA CAMRY. THE EXTENT OF THE WORK THAT HAS BEEN CARRIED OUT IS SO MUCH . THAT THERE IS TOO MUCH TOO LIST . THESE CARS IN THIS CONDITION ARE BECOMING VERY RARE NOW . AND WITH THE V6 FITTED THEY ARE JUST SO DIFFERENT TO A STANDARD MR2.

 

THE VEHICLE COMES WITH ALL THE OLD MOT PAPERS DATING BACK TO 1999 . ALSO I HAVE THE ORIGINAL SERVICE RECORD . WHEN IT HAD THE ORIGINAL ENGINE FITTED PRIOR TO THE CONVERSION . IT ALSO HAS THE ROLLING ROLL PRINT OUT . AND TWO FOLDERS FULL OF RECEIPTS FOR WORK CARRIED OUT / NEW PARTS ETC.

 

THE ENGINE WHICH WAS FITTED WAS PURCHASED FROM PHIL TUCK FROM THE TWOBRUTAL WEBSITE USER NAME  [ MRV6 ] .

 

 PHIL HAD THE ENGINE PACKAGE IN HIS MR2 WHICH WAS CONVERTED BY STUART AT AAS UP NORTH . THEY SPEACILISE IN CUSTOM EXHAUSTS AND MANIFOLDS ETC.

 

THIS CAR HAS CUSTOM STAINLESS STEEL MANIFOLDS AND DOWNPIPE . AGAIN THESE WERE MADE BY AAS . FIRST CLASS JOB AND THE WAY THEY SOUND IS AWESOME. THE REAR BACK BOX IS FROM AN MR2 TURBO . I BOUGHT THE BACKBOX FROM A GUY WHO IMPORTED MR2 YEARS AGO . THE BACKBOX CAME IN THE BOOT OF AN MR2 . AGAIN IT WAS VERY GENUINE . span >  ALMOST LIKE NEW REALLY .

 

THIS A VERY LOW MILAGE ENGINE AS WHEN PHIL BOUGHT IT IT HAD ONLY COVERED 10K MILES . HE VERY RARELY USED HIS MR2 AND ONLY COVERED AN EXTRA 3K MILES WHILE HE OWNED IT . I HAVE SINCE PUT LESS THAN 1500 MILES ONTO THE ENGINE .

 

THE ENGINE RUNS ON A LINK G4 STORM STAND ALONE ECU . WITH A WIDE BAND LAMDA SENSOR AND HIGH FLOW CAT FITTED FOR THE MOT . SO IT PASSES EMISSIONS NO PROBLEM  . AND HAS A GENUINE MOT ON THE CAR ALONG WITH A FULL TOYOTA DEALERSHIP ENGINEERS REPORT FOR THE WORK CARRIED OUT.

 

ALONG WITH EVERYTHING THAT HAS BEEN DONE TO THE CAR . I HAVE ALSO FITTED AN UPRATED ALLOY RADIATOR WITH NEW HOSES . THE CAR RUNS AT THE CORRECT TEMPERATURE . AND THE FAN CUT ON AND OFF AS THEY SHOULD.

 

I HAVE ALSO FLUSHED THE COOLING SYSTEM . REFILLED AND BLEAD WITH GENUINE TOYOTA COOLANT FOR LIFE . span >  [ RED IN COLOUR ].

 

ALONG WITH THE 1MZFE V6 .  IT HAS A REV 5 GEARBOX AND A FIDANZA FLYWHEEL FITED . WITH A FAST ROAD CLUTCH AND TURBO PRESSURE PLATE . THERE IS NO CLUTCH SLIP AT ALL .

 

THE CAR WAS ROLLING ROAD TUNED / MAPPED BY RYAN GRIFFITHS FROM 2 BAR TUNING . RYAN IS WELL KNOW IN THE TUNING WORLD .

 

I HAVE SPENT 2 YRS DOING THE CONVERSION IN MY SPARE TIME . ALONG WITH OTHER JOBS ON THE CAR . ITS HAD FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION REBUILD . KONI ADJUSTABLE SHOCKS . POLY BUSHES . span >  BRAKE DISCS  . BRAKE CALIPERS . HAND BRAKE CABLES .  ABS SENSORS . WHEEL BEARINGS . BRAIDED HOSES . NUTS & BOLTS THE FULL WORKS.   ALL THE SUSPENSION ARMS ECT HAVE BEEN MEDIA BLASTED PAINTED AND CLEAR COAT LAQUERD . OR POWDER COATED .

 

THE CAR IS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION AND HAS NEVER BEEN IN ANY ACCIDENTS. ALL THE PANELS LOOK TOTOALLY GENUINE FROM WHAT I CAN SEE.

 

 THIS MR2 WAS ORIGINALLY BOUGHT FROM SHOWCASE SPORTS CARS . AND IT CAME WITH A MASSIVE SERVICE HISTORY .

 

 THE PREVIOUS OWNER DIDN'T CARE ABOUT HOW MUCH THINGS COST HE JUST GOT IT DONE . I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I LOOKED AT SOME OF THE BILLS / INVOICES . HE EVEN HAD BOTH  THE T BAR SEALS REPLACED DUE TO A SMALL LEAK ON THE PASSENGER SIDE I THINK IT WAS . IT HAS EVEN HAD A BRAND NEW STEERING RACK FITTED WHEN THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD IT . FITTED BY TOYOTA DEALERSHIP .  

 

THE INTERIOR OF THE MR2 HAS THE BLACK LEATHER SEATS AND DOOR CARDS . THERE ARE NO RIPS OR TEARS . AGAIN EVERYTHING IS GENUINE. EVEN THE STEERING WHEEL AND GEAR KNOB . THERE IS A LITTLE AMOUNT WEAR ON THE GEAR KNOB . JUST AGE RELATED REALLY IM JUST BEING HONEST .    THE ORIGINAL RADIO CASSETTE IS STILL IN THE CAR . GREAT FOR LISTENING TO THOSE OLD TAPES. !

 

BOTH THE SILLS ARE IN BRILLIANT CONDITION ALONG WITH THE UNDERSIDE OF THE VEHICLE . THERE HAS BEEN NO WELDING WHAT SO EVER . ALL INSIDE THE SILLS HAVE BEEN INJECTED WITH WAXOYL WHEN I FIRST GOT THE CAR . span >  ANY SURFACE RUST WHICH I FOUND HAS BEEN MEDIA BLASTED OFF . REPRIMED PAINTED AND SEALED . [ ITS RUST FREE ]

 

I WOULD REALLY LIKE THE NEW OWNER OF THIS CAR TO LOVE IT AND CHERISH IT LIKE I HAVE SO THAT IT CAN REMAIN PART OF THE MR2 WORLD FOR MANY YEARS TO COME .

 

 I FEEL VERY SAD TO BE WRITING THIS ADVERT . KNOWING THAT SOMEONE ELSE IS GOING TO GET A FANTASTIC EXAMPLE OF A REV 3 V6 CONVERSION . BUT I JUST DO NOT HAVE THE TIME  ANYMORE TO ENJOY THIS CAR . - SO PLEASE ONLY MAKE AN ENQUIRY IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT BUYING THE CAR.

 

I AM NOT DESPERATE TO SELL . BUT NOW ITS ALMOST FINISHED . I FEEL IT'S THE BEST TIME FOR THE NEW OWNER TO TAKE OVER.

 

THE CAR HAS ALWAYS BEEN DRY STORED IN MY  HEATED GARAGE FOR THE 5 YEARS I HAVE OWNED IT .

 

I HAVE IT  INSURED ON A CLASSIC POLICY FOR AROUND £250. 00 A YEAR WITH LIMITED MILEGE. /p>

 

IT WILL HAVE 6 MONTHS ROAD TAX . AND THERE IS 5 MONTHS MOT REMAINING . IF THE LAW ALLOWS ME I WILL GET A FRESH MOT DONE SO THAT THE NEW OWNER HAS A 12 MONTH CERTIFICATE WITH THE CAR.

 

I WOULD SAY THAT ANYBODY LOOKING FOR A CONVERTED MR2 V6 WILL HAVE AN AWESOME VEHICLE WHICH WILL LAST ANOTHER 20YRS EASILY .

 

I HAVE A COUPLE OF JOBS LEFT TO DO ON THE CAR . BUT THESE WILL BE DONE . SO I HAVE PIECE OF MIND THAT I HAVE TAKEN IT AS FAR AS I CAN WITH THE LIMITED TIME I HAVE NOWADAYS . BUT THE NEW OWNER WILL WITHOUT A DOUBT HAVE A FANTASTIC REV 3 MR2 V6 .

 

I REALISE I WILL NEVER GET MY MONEY BACK THAT THE CAR OWES ME BUT THAT'S JUST THE WAY THESE PROJECTS GO . SO I HAVE TRIED TO BE REALISTIC BUT FAIR AT THE SAME TIME .
