Here we have a Beautiful fully restored 1953 International Harvester R-120 (3/4 t) Tow truck model. 4 speed manual. that has been converted to 12 volt electrical system.
This has the original silver diamond six which as been overhauled and runs perfectly. The rear end is from a more modern Ford Ambulance (very heavy duty) with disc brakes. and there is a Bendix brake booster installed. This restoration was completed in 2014. and everything was professionally taken down to bare metal and refinished. Has about 100 miles since the restoration was complete. Tires are brand new.
This truck was built in Canada by International Motor Truck of Hamilton. Ontario.
It was purchased new in the Province of Saskatchewan and remained there until 5 years ago when it was purchased by the current owner located in Winnipeg. Manitoba.
Has been appraised at $22. 00 CAD.
