1960 MG A 1600 MK2 ROADSTER for sale

The MG T series was beginning to look a little long in the tooth and by the early 1950 s MG required a new fresh design.
So the MG A was finally launched in 1955 and was soon a great success with most of the production volume being exported to the USA.
MG As have long been ignored but recently they have become a well sort after investment.
This is a lovely 1600 mk 2 example and a particularly strong driving car with excellent engine. earbox and a tight chassis having recently had many new components fitted .
She spent the first 46 years in California and returned to the Uk in 2006 and underwent necessary refurbishment but had survived the normal ravages of rust affecting most Uk examples.
The work is documented and there are photos and many old invoices etc and a good history file.
She benefits from a stainless steel exhaust and electronic ignition and is in excellent condition.
