Lincoln : Mark Series

Previously sold but. RELISTED.   Winning buyer did not respond after sale.  

For sale by owner. 1979 Lincoln Continental. This car has only 44. 88 miles.  

We have. somewhat reluctantly. decided to re-structure our somewhat unbalanced little automobile collection. As such. we are selling off some of our cars. Included is this fabulous 1979 Lincoln Continental. While not particularly rare by any sense. I had wanted one of these for many years. I just could not find the right one.   Seemed there was always one available somewhere but. none were really special enough. That is. until I found this one. The colour combination is just exquisite.   This car. in real life. nbsp;shines like a jewel.   If you are looking for a super eye-catching future collectible for a really reasonable price. here it is!   This particular car was owned by only one gentleman before us. He was a great fellow.   It think it was a difficult decision for him to sell his beloved Lincoln but. he no longer had the ability to store it indoors. Matter of fact. he cupped his hands over his face and sobbed as he gave us his folder of receipts. and documentation from the trunk.   Since owning it. I have really spent the time taking care of this automobile.   I see why it meant so much to him.   This car was garaged. and has never seen snow.   It was a car for special occasions only.  

Condition-wise. it is really spectacular.   Such a good looking car.   Everything shows exactly like a low-mileage original should.   It is a dream to drive.   There is no wear at all on the interior.   It's clean. and appears probably just as it did in the dealer's showroom.   It was detailed to perfection inside and out. top to bottom.   Ready to cruise to your own special occasions. dinners. or show-'n-shines.   There is some light damage to the right-rear wheel opening trim. and to be honest. nbsp;I haven't looked for another yet.   Asides from this. it is just such a beauty from every angle.   Whomever chose this paint combination deserves a handshake.   This is an original. low mileage car. and I have always had an adoration for genuine low-mile cars.   Very importantly. Nothing has every been restored. touched-up. messed with. repainted. or monkeyed around with.   This is not a well photographed and overpriced dealer special of the week.   This is a genuine. no-excuses automobile.   There's no guessing that this is a very low mileage original when you see this car but.    It comes with full documentation to support.   This one's always made me proud.   It's a real looker.

Not sure what else to say about this one.   Be sad to see it go but. we're making room to welcome some different classic toys. and better balance out our collectionI'.   Have fun bidding. It's a good one!

You might be interested to know. when I purchased this Lincoln. I paid fifteen.   We've enjoyed having it here but. have realistically driven it less than 500 miles.   I'm not afraid to take a loss. and will likely remove the reserve to get on with it.   So please bid.   It's a really nice car.   Thanks.

By the way.   There are no import/export restrictions on any vehicle older than 1981.   It is exempt from everything.   No special forms. no inspections. no nothing.   It's as easy as moving a car state to state.   I'll set everything up from my end.   Having a Cdn shipper deliver it should save you a further 25%.   I'll even trailer the car to the shipper for you.
