The MGB was launched in May 1962 to replace the MGA. Introduced
as a four-cylinder roadster. a coupé with 2+2 seating was added in
1965 with production continuing until October 1980. The MGB GT
sported a ground-breaking design by Pininfarina with the launch of
its sporty 'hatchback' style. By combining the sloping rear window
with the rear deck lid. the GT offered the utility of a hatchback
while retaining the style and shape of a coupé.

Reported to be the last ever registered MGB. this was originally
a rubber-bumpered example but was sent to the Mallalieu works after
purchase which offered a service supplying chrome bumpers. The
suspension was also slightly lowered and the radiator grill swapped
over. Owned by the vendor. his company and then his son. this
extremely useable MG has remained in single family ownership
throughout its entire life. It presents in good condition
throughout and has an Mo T test certificate valid May. 2016.
