1959 Lister Knobbly Jaguar.

A beautiful aluminium bodied Lister Jaguar in impeccable order.

Little is known about this car. It was swapped from a german collection in 1980 by the current owner against a Mercedes 300 SL. The car was granted a FIVA passport & has been little used whilst sitting in a collection.

The body is of Aluminium & unusually for a lister has a second speed hump behind the passenger seat in addition to the one found behind the drivers seat. Construction is first rate with period correct details throughout. Having been to Lister & looked at their current & past build cars. we can attest that the chassis appears identical to those being produced today.

The engine is a 3. 8 litre wide angle head 3. 8 litre motor fully tuned & sporting triple twin choke Webber Carb's. The car is resplendent in dark green with period correct yellow nose & stripe. To the interior is green leather. sparco racing belts & not much else save for a speedometer. rev counter & removable steering wheel. The car is extremely quick & makes for a potent track day weapon or fast road use car. If anyone is able to shed more light on the car's early history we would welcome their call.
