We are delighted to be able to offer for sale this wonderful and very rare 1942 Willys Jeep.

Built 18/05/1942. serial number GPW26089 is presented for Long Range Desert Operations. with all original features for desert duty. including: Desert sand paint. sand canvass hood and seat covers. long range water tank. Jerry can. radio antenna. shovel/axe etc.

Complete with the original data plates on the glove box. this lovely vehicle has been subject to significant mechanical improvements. most notable of which is the installation by the previous owner of a 2. 0L Peugeot diesel engine and gearbox for enhanced driving and economy. Whilst this addition might put off the purist. for those that are looking for an original Jeep that is ultimately reliable - this is it!

We have owned PFF499 since 2007. in our ownership she has made regular appearances at the Goodwood Revival amongst other local events. but her principle use has been for summertime fun and trips to various pubs in the Surrey Hills. where she always receives a good deal of attention!
