I bought this gorgeous 190 SL about 8 years ago from The Chequered Flag in Los Angeles.

The car has always started easily. idles well and drives beautifully.

The car is a yellow plate car and has always been in California until I bought it.

I live in Vancouver.

The 190 SL has never seen rain or snow.

The great thing about this 190 is that it is a very original car.

I had it appraised about 7 years ago and it was described as a fantasic "survivor"

It still has the Solex carbs that work extremely well. ( most 190 sl's have been changed to Webber carbs).

The seats have a slight patina from age but are not cracked or hard. The soft top is like new. Might have been changed many years ago before I bought the car.

The chrome is generally very good. Some of the chrome on the bumpers is slightly pitted. You have to look closely to see.

The paint is very good with a few blemishes here and there but looks fantastic even close up. I have been complimented on the great paint and shine on the car many times.

I have just had a new clutch and complete oil service done by a very reputable European Collector car Service Centre in Vancouver (Milo European Cars. )

The car is very reliable. really good looking. starts first time idles perfectly. does not overheat and you can drive it anywhere.

It is a black plate car. Always been in California before I bought it.

The speedometer shows 6580 miles but I am not sure if this is correct. looking at the car it has definitely done a low mileage.

The car is not a #1 car but in my opinion is a close #2 ( see Haggerty price guide).

Haggerty puts a #3 car at $98. 00 and a #2 car at $148. 00 MY RESERVE PRICE IS MUCH LOWER.

I am very sure in a few years time the car will be around $150. 0 to $180. 00.

A very nicely restored 190 SL recently sold at RM auctions for $225. 00
