Regretful sale of a very loved Kombi Delilah After 4 years in storage. Its come time to sell my beautiful kombi Delilah!
She's is a 1974 Kombi camper with a reconditioned 2 ltr engine (Reconditioning was done in 1998).
I have had her re-sprayed and the art work re-done.
She has room for twin batteries. which can run the CD player and 6 speaker stereo system and flat screen TV.
I have had an alarm system fitted with radio sensor and a kill switch. There is also a mains connection inside and out with extension cord.
The cabin has a double bed which converts to seat three. I am happy to sell all camping accessories. table. chairs. brand new awning. tent. sleeping bags. portable electric fridge. pots pans and all the jazz.
There is also all the bed linen/quilt/pillows/towels ect.
Extensive Australia guides with maps and camping spot.
There is plenty of storage and cupboard space.
The kombi is fitted with a gas stove which connects to a detachable gas cylinder on the front of the van behind the bull bar.
There is a 20 L water tank underneath the van and a pump tap inside.
She has a perfect service history and full comprehensive insurance.
I have never had any trouble with her and have driven the east coast of Australia twice.
She is almost 40 years old and has her quirks She can jump out of second gear if left in second too long.
She has no power steering and can be heavy when full of people & camping gear :-)!
She is 2. 2 m high and may not fit in all carports. (although she has a custom cover)
When it's very cold outside she can take up to 10 minutes to warm up.
