Leyland P76 Super 6 Currently V8 T BAR Auto in Blind Bight, VIC

For Sale is my pride and Joy Leyland P76 Super 6 T-Bar Auto Currently Running V8 Running Gear but have all original parts to convert back to original 6cyl running gear. I've owned the Car for 6 years and I am the 3rd owner. the elderly gentleman (that has since passed away) I purchased the car from had the car for over 20 years and bought it from his brother inlaw so he had a long association with the car. I bought the car with an original 109. 00kms and I have done a further 6. 00 since so total 115. 00kms. I purchased it in very original condition with the 6 cylinder. the engine went very well I thought but the auto was a bit clunky. I soon converted it from the 6 to the V8 from parts a procured from the Vic club and have spent plenty of money getting it to a reliable road running car. Parts fitted over the last few years include Low km engine that I had freshened - with new standard size bearings and gaskets etc. reco waterpump. reco carbi. nos lift pump. extractors. new rear shocks and nos springs. stainless exhaust but needs tweaking as it hits the rear shocker now and then. new radiator (custom made). new plastic fan . new alternator. new radiator hoses. new heater hoses and heater tap. new master cylinder and wheel cylinders. reco power steering rack and pump (original manual rack comes with car). reco intermediate steering shaft (new uni and rubber coupling). new front strut inserts. top bushes. wheel bearings. machined rotors. new brake pads. I'm told the windscreen is original as it has the logo in the centre but I have a new one that comes with it anyway. new rear brake shoes. and axle bearings (diff a bit noisy but have a LSD ready to go in). new carpet. reco steering wheel. new speedo and tacho cable. new tyres on targa mags (with new centre caps). overall car is in very good original condition. it has had a old school paint job 20 plus years ago as it is like the car has been painted only 3 quarters around. need a keen eye to pick this. . the bad - slight panel damage from old mate I bought it from on the LH rear quarter. some cracks in paint on boot lid near number plate. 1 small bubble in paint under fuel filler (has not worsened in the years I've had it. maybe as I fish oiled the hell out of it when I got it??). and has some small oil leaks. but this is standard issue with these engines I believe. . Car will come with plenty of spares including all original 6cylinder running gear and even a spare V8 and auto. . Very regretful sale but due to new hobbies I need the space and money. it is on club reg and I'm happy to supply a RWC with sale. Inspections welcome. Call Trevor on 0414416356.
