Perhaps the epitome of the eighties 911: a Guards Red Carrera Sport Coupé. complete with red-piped black leather interior and even an enormous period car phone.

This 911 was first registered by Ian Anthony Ltd (OPC) in Cheshire on 01/08/86. It has now covered just 117k miles. is HPI clear and has a full service history (OPC and specialist) comprising of a fully stamped service book and a huge folder of receipts. with bills corresponding to the service stamps. All books/manuals are present too. Such a fabulous history is certainly indicative of a clearly cherished car.

The bodywork is in beautiful condition with no corrosion and the paintwork is superb. The underside has been regularly waxed and is free from corrosion or damage.

The interior is superb and totally original. The heavily bolstered Sport seats have not been restored and are excellent. as are the carpets. which have new overmats.

All electrical equipment works correctly and the heating system is extremely effective. having recently benefitted from an overhaul.

Having spent over 1000 miles behind the wheel of this 911. we can confirm that that engine is extremely healthy with no smoke. correct oil pressure and prodigious performance. It has just had a major service including all new ignition components. The Fuchs wheels are in excellent condition and shod with recent. premium tyres. The suspension is tight and the brakes superb. In short. it's a joy to drive.

In summary. this is a beautiful example of the classic eighties 911 in arguably the best colour copmbination. A remarkably original car with a superb history. this 911 represents a fabulous ownership and investment prospect alike.
