I have to sell my 1951 Mercury to make room in the garage for the '49 caddy I just bought. . I have owned this car more than ten years and it has always been reliable and a pleasure to dirve. The flathead V8 is smooth and quite. The transmission is 3 on the tree with overdrive. This car cruises effortlessly at 65 MPH. The most unique feature of this car is it's originality and low miles.  The interior upolstery. floor rubber. rear carpet. door panels. head liner and seat covers. spare tire are 100% original. The chrome is 100% original. The paint has probably had one repaint. I can't see that it's been painted but the finish is simply too good to be original. There is zero rust.  If you like original cars. that are good reliable drivers. this could be the car for you.
