Chrysler : LeBaron Lebaron

Howdy Folks.   Up for auction is my way groovy far out awesome 1983 Chrysler Mark Cross Edition Woody Lebaron convertible.   I have had it for a long time.  It is dark brown with woodgrain trim and woodgrain in the middle.  The paint is good.  The chrome is weak.  but presentable for a driver.   No rust.  Very solid     Lets talk drive line.   It has a rebuilt 2. 6 Mitsubishi with about 6000 miles on it.   It has the balance shafts eliminated from it.   This gives it better oil pressure and give it a bit more power.    The engine short block came from Engines Direct.  The head was overhauled by Truco machine shop.   the water pump. fuel pump and exhaust manifold were replaced at the same time.    The engine also has a Webber two barrow up grade.  This makes a huge difference in power and ease of starting.       Shortly after the engine.  the rack and pinion. power steering pump and hoses were replaced.   Then the front struts and bearings were replaced.  The calipers and front rotors were replaced.   The rear shocks were replaced.   The rear brakes were inspected.  They are still good.       The top has been replaced about 5 years ago and in good shape.  The hydraulic cylinders were replaced last year for the top.   It works just great.  I have the boot for it as well.   However I never use it.        The interior is original and in very good condition.  Only the drivers seat shows some wear.  The seats are leather not vinyl.   Has the Mark Cross upgraded interior.   The dash is good no cracks.  all instruments work.  I have the original AM FM radio.  which the robotic voice likes better than the updated 1995 Chrysler AM FM CASS. CD stereo in it now.  The Warning robot talks through the radio.  It will remind you to put your seat belt on.  close the door. take your keys. or if your fuel. washer fluid is low.  Or if the engine has any problems like low oil pressure or over heating.    (the car never over heats)   The robot voice sometimes is garbled with the new radio.       The body is good.   No rust.  The wood is good.   The wood decals are really good.  The glass is good.  The chrome is a bit thin.  But ok.    The only repair body wise is the floor of the trunk.   When I got the car the top was bad and water rotted out the trunk.  I replaced the floor and top.        The exhaust was replaced this year.   The air conditioning works great.  Blows really cold.  The Cruse control works.   The computer works.  it will calculate how far you can travel on current amount of gas.  fuel milage. trip milage. date time. ect.   That is really advance for 1983.   The transmission works great.        Things that will need some attention in the near future depending on you.  The bushings make some squeaks when you take off or stop.  They are generally quiet when going down the road.        The winner will have the opportunity to purchase two other Lebaron parts cars I have.  Both are interesting cars.  One has the digital dash and a 2. 2 turbo with an automatic.   The other one is really interesting.  it has 2. 2 turbo with 5 speed manual transmission.   I have never seen a LeBaron with a manual.    It also has a turbo dash.  with boost gauge. tach. full instruments.  It also has really cool alloy wheels.      Payment.   there will be a paypal deposit only.   The balance must be cash in person or check once cleared with in one week of auctions end.  The car must be picked up with in three weeks of auctions end.   I am somewhat flexible with pick up.  but you must contact me first and make arrangements.      Its located in Holland. New York near Buffalo.   Ask any questions before you bid.        Last note:  the last photo shows a brass tag on the dash.  that states that this car was made for me Patrick Penfold.    I am keeping that tag.   I will remove it from the car if sold.
