Bought this car in New Zealand 3 years ago picked it up at the port of Long Beach. The reason for selling my car is- my girls pregnant and I need to buy a bigger car before the baby is born. I'm the second owner of this mini and I've had it for 3 years never been in any kind of accident. Bought it with 28. 00 miles and have the paper work for the new 1275 engine. It's a 1976 but its legal here in California did it the right way and have all the paper work to prove it.

They modified the cat and did a tune up smog check and did other things to make the car legal and pass the smog check and it does every time. So you will need to smog it every 2 years but it will always pass. All paper work from shipping and the title on New Zealand I have. Please ask questions will answer the best I can. The car has never had rust or has been restored the body it great all ways garage kept. I drove it from Los Angeles to Maryland round trip never over heated or gave me any problems. Spent less then $350 on gas one way it was worth the drive coming back home took me 2 days and 6 hours not bad for a mini. The engine has 60. 00 miles I changed the oil every 3. 00 used halocline and Lucas oil for better results and also used fuel injector cleaner every month. IF YOU NEED HELP SHIPPING THE CAR I CAN GIVE A NUMBER. I've spent a good amount of money on this car and finding one in such almost perfect shape is rare and it's legal in California is a plus. Just renewed plates on 2/14/13 and good till 2/14/2014 JUST DID THE TUNE UP 2 WEEKS AGO.

The bad-

Second gear slips out every once in a while BUT

we really don't use second gear much anyway not a big deal

It leaks very small drops of oil but we know

every mini does it.

My radio just stopped working last week the

cables in the back need reconnecting. Should be an easy fix.

I have no idea how to work on radios.

Boot lid has a very small dent but you can't

notice it.

Front fog lights don't work they need new glass

fuses easy fix.

One of the fog lights is cracked easy fix $30 on

mini sport.

I have lots of extras and a new car

cover plus the roof rack just for a classic mini.
