Dodge : Other SUPER BEE

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION I have for sale a real Muscle Car. This 1969 Dodge Super Bee replica/copy looks fast. sounds fast and to me is a fast car. The Plumb Crazy paint and black interior is the right colors for a 1969 Muscle Car. The car is powered by a very strong 360 cubic inch engine. it sounds like a NASCAR with mufflers. Its connected with a 727 automatic transmission and a fresh built rear-end. The tires are BF Goodrich and the rims factory. I guess I have a weak spot for 1969 Dodge cars. I bought a new 1969 Dodge Charger when I got home from a tour in Viet Nam in 1969.

UP FRONT: This is a driver quality. if you want perfect its not the one. Its just a good looking MOPAR for a fair price. My description tells it the way I see it. its no inspection. its a description for advertisement. Please come look at the car. Please do not hit the buy now button and then come inspect. Don't send a paid inspector. I don't want to waste your money and my time. Come look at the car your self. bring a mechanic. not a paperwork inspector.

HISTORY: I bought the car from my car restorer friend that lives near Cincinnati. A guy near him restored the car and decided to sell.

HAS THE CAR EVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT? I see no signs of one. the frame extentions look straight and the title states nothing.

WHAT IS THE ENGINE? Its a very strong 360 cubic inch. The past owner built it so I can not tell you the details. It has a nice hitting cam. Holley carb. nice die cast MOPAR valve covers and air cleaner. I think it is very fast. it starts good and the exhaust system has the loud/deep Muscle Car sound. To me it has a NASCAR SOUND on the road. but it does have mufflers. they look like Flow Master to me. Inside the car I hear no unwanted sounds. but with the hood up I hear a tick. It sounds like a valve train tick. I did pull the valve covers and check the rockers and cam travel. I replace some rockers and the valve travel is good. Its not causing a problem and will run on and on. but you can here it.

WHAT IS THE TRANSMISSION? It look like a 727 to me. thats a 3 speed automatic. It shifts good and has no slip.

WHAT IS THE REAR-END? Its a fresh rebuilt rear chunk. I did not check the ratio. but its fells a lower than stock. I think its just right.

HOW IS THE INTERIOR? It is nice. the seats show no wear. the carpet good. door panels decent. dash pad good. headliner good with a patched hole above the passengers head.

HOW IS THE PAINT? The plumb crazy paint is not perfect. but presentable. It is edgy. some touched up chips and orange peel and other little defects. The body is reasonable straight when you look down the sides. I guess you would call it a driver paint job. it looks good just to walk by. but you see defects with a critical eye inspection.

DOES THE CAR HAVE ANY BODY FILER/BONDO? Have you seen one that does not have any. It has filler down low if you try to stick a magnet.

HOW IS THE CHROME? We put a new front and rear bumper on. the other chrome is OK. but not new. Some pits in things like the tail light bezels.

HOW IS THE GLASS? I consider it good. the windshield must have been replaced. it has no wiper marks and is not milky.

HOW IS THE VINYL TOP? Looks very nice with no holes and no cracking. it does have some minor places under it. look at my pictures. By minor places I mean it is probally scaley rust. Guys don't seal properly before putting a new one own.

DO THE LIGHTS WORK? The head lights work. tail lights work. turn signals work. brake lights work. interior lights work.

DOES THE RADIO WORK? Yes. its a after market with CD.

WIPERS WORK!  GAUGES WORK!  TACHOMETER WORKS!

GAS GAUGE IS NOT WORKING. ITS PROBALLY THE SENDING UNIT!

HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? I think it drives good. it is power steering.

HOW DOES THE CAR STOP? I think it stops good for drum brakes. they are not power.

EXHAUST SYSTEM: It sound extra good. full tube headers. H pipe. the mufflers look like Flow Master.

WHEELS AND TIRES: The tires are good BF Goodrich radials. the wheels are good used condition factory.
