If you have been looking for a restored classic Jeep that is ready to take on your next adventure. look no further.  Cool fall days are here and perfect to put the top off and cruise around. and winter will be here in just a little while with plenty of snow fun for a classic 4x4.   The Jeep CJ8 Scrambler is the rarest of all of the classic CJ model jeeps. and has been coveted for years by Jeep enthusiasts for its versatility.  As one of the only vehicles in general ever produced that can be converted from a truck. to an SUV. to a convertible in a matter of minutes; it is no wonder the Jeep CJ8 is one of the most collectable and saught after Jeeps ever built.   This 1981 Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler is ready to take to the open road in style or go anywhere off-road her new owners wish to take her.
 
The seats in this 1981 Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler were not just replaced with cheap BestTop replacement seats like most Jeeps out there.  The two original front bucket seats were correctly reupholstered in the original styling.  The dash pad and door panels were replaced with the original matching interior pieces.  Sitting in the cab of this 1981 Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler looks just as it did in 1981 at the Jeep dealer.  Too often Jeeps are heavily modified and interior parts are replaced with cheap mail order parts.  This Jeep was restored to original inside. whcih is becoming rarer and rarer.    The entire inside of the body was rhino lined with the idea in mind of after a long day of surfing. skiing. or enjoying the outdoors; the interior could simply be hosed out.   The BESTTOP bikini top is perfect for hot sunny days with a chance of an afternoon shower and is included brand new in the box with this Jeep.  This Jeep also comes with a hardtop. which insures you will be warm and dry on your way to the ski sloped in the winter.     All brand new seat-belts were just installed that match the black interior.    
The jeep has never been lifted and still sports all original suspension. which ensures the new owner will enjoy a smooth ride.  The BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires were just replaced this week and bolted on BRAND NEW Blackrock wheels.  The 33x10. 50 tires allow for a little more height than factory. but free from any rubbing.  Whether you are driving through beach sand. mountain snow or all the muddy trails in between. this combination is sure to get you there with ease.  It's a JEEP.
 
The body of this great 1981 Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler is perfectly solid and completely rust free.  You won't find rust anywhere on this gorgeous jeep.  The Gun Metal Metallic Silver paint was done correctly in a triple stage( primer. base. clear).  Brand new rugged ridge factory style fender flares were added to the jeep.  The tube style Quadratec bumper gives this Jeep a slightly cooler look. but the original will be included in the sale.  All new lights were installed on the exterior.  During the restoration the entire frame was  sprayed  to preserve it for years to come.  
 
This 1981 Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler not only looks like a brand new Jeep. but is just as reliable.  The straight 6 engine was completely gone through to provide years of enjoyment. The Jeep has a floor shift automatic transmission that shifts smoothly through all gears.  The world famous Jeep transfer case and 4x4 system has all been serviced and works just as it should.   
 
There are too many details that were upgraded. estored. replaced. or overhauled during the restoration to mention.  This 1981 Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler is sure to be a blast and will certainly bring years of enjoyment to come.   The JEEP has a clean and clear title and is ready for the new owner.  As this vehicle is for sale locally. we do reserve the right to end the auction early.
