Current customer rating:
This 1974 Plymouth Duster was purchased as a project car for Barn Finds. com . but honestly it doesn't need anything and we feel guilty driving it. so there isn't much to write about. As is evident in the photos. it is original and in very good shape. The only areas that needed attention are the wiper switch and the shifter needs adjusted. Both issues will be addressed before the auction ends. We have pieced together the car's history and you can read more about it here on our site:

Positives
Original paint. graphics. and stripes. Mostly original interior. except for some of the seat insert fabric which has been replaced with NOS material. Runs. drives. and stops excellent. 67 k original miles. No rust. There are a few chips and scratches here and there. but we have not found any cancer. Very unique options list - Gold Duster. original snakeskin vinyl roof. Caravan interior. 225 inline-six with a manual 3-speed. dealer installed air conditioning. The AC does work and blows out some cold air. I'm not going to say it just needs refilled because that is not usually the case. but you never know. New radiator. carburetor rebuilt. brakes gone through. power steering and am/fm stereo added (original am stereo included). New rims and radial tires added. A folder full of paperwork going all the way back to the original owner is included along with the build sheet.
Negatives
Some dings and scratches. Shifter needs adjusted. but will be addressed before sold. Wiper switch doesn't always work.
This really is an amazing car. The originality is baffling. When I first saw it I assumed it had been restored. but upon further inspection it was obvious that this car was all original. The first owners used it for many years before the husband passed away and then it sat in their garage for about 10 years before a Mopar enthusiast found it. He ended up selling to a fellow club member who appreciated originality. He then did the work to make it drivable while still trying to keep things original. Now it deserves to be in someone's collection who has the means and enthusiasm to preserve it for future generations. Please feel free to
