Description TRULY ICONIC AMERICAN MUSCLE CAR - 1967 SHELBY GT 350 - ONE OWNER ORIGINAL CAR - VERY RARE

This is a one owner. 1967 Shelby GT 350 with 91. 00 original miles on the odometer.

The car is finished in Nightmist Blue and has a complementary Black Vinyl interior.

This is a very rare and outstanding car.

This 1967 Shelby GT 350 is a very early (No 159) original one-owner vehicle with all of the original parts!

In 2010 we completed a restoration of this beautiful car the goal was to take this valuable piece of Shelby muscle and “renew” it to impeccable standards while maintaining as much of its originality as possible.

We use the word “renew” because almost all of the original components were rebuilt. re-plated and/or refinished whenever possible.

The very early 67 Shelby's had the inboard headlights. smooth vinyl upholstery. functioning brake scoops. Koni shocks. the 4 point attachment rollbar. steel backed fiberglass hood & trunk lid.

Almost everything you read states that the automatic cars came with a 595 cfm Autolite carburetor. but this car came with a 715 cfm Holley 4150 carburetor with Le Mans float bowls.

Highlights:

Stamped on the backside of the interior passenger door panel is the date. Nov 01. 1966

During the restoration we made contact with SAAC's 67 Registrar Dave Mathews and traveled to his home in Connecticut to visit him.

To our surprise. he had documentation that showed this car was originally consigned to Downey Ford in Downey. CA on December 21. 1966 and when they didn't sell it. Ford re-consigned it on February 14. 1967 to Robie Ford in Dorchester. MA which is where the current owner ended up buying it!
