1966 FORD FAIRLANE FAST BACK HARD TOP:   videos speak volumes I suggest you watch them to truly appreciate this Ford. Car is as video's show. They are current as well.

Don't let the price fool you this is not a bondo bucket or a rot box. No replacement panels that I can tell at all.   

The blue is dark almost looks black at times. Presents very well floors trunk and body are very clean and nice with out any issues.  

    What is new as of this current season.    Starter / alternator/ battery/ plugs and wires/ all fluids/ ignition set up/ has the Pertronix set up cap and rotor/ I also have a spare Pertronix set up goes with. Air cleaner fuel filter / flame thrower coil. / thermostat housing and 160 degree stat/ never runs hot. Front shocks and rear shocks.

                New badges fairlane 500 on sides and ford letters front and back. Door handles are a little dull have new passenger side. That chrome alone was 460 dollars from MAC Antique Auto feel free to verify on line.   Bumpers and grill look exceptional. New carpet . rear seat redone. door panels are in excellent condition.

               Car is mild pin striped (see video) Really sets her off. It is subtle and looks really great.

             Tires are in great condition and the rims really set her off.   Has some new suspension components up front as well.     Also spare set of chrome rims included with this sale as well ( Very nice rims not crap).  

              Everything works: cigarette lighter. dome lights. heat. wipers. except horn.

             Interior is very clean. Door panels head liner carpet rear seat dash. only the drivers seat has a rip (see video).

             Trunk is very nice no issues. Looks out standing has trunk mat no patches.  

             dual exhaust all the way back. Sounds really nice.

            Not a tire smoker car.  It's a small block 289 car.  Gas mileage is amazing. Manual steer drum brake fastback.

       Only faults would be: 

Has a high idle on cold starts but when she warms up it kicks right down typical.   

       Automatic shifter on floor: when in park you sometimes have to back it up from the park position very slight about a hair to fire. Very rare does not happen all the time.

      Drivers window all the way up is slightly off on the rear edge (slightly) has no door alignment issues doors open close like new both sides. Windows up down no issues felts and rubbers are in new condition.

      Since the new front suspension updates: shocks/ some steering components / Tires/ could use a front alignment which is typical when you do new parts. But nothing crazy. I drove it this past season with no concerns does not bump steer over holes or bumpy roads.  Has a new high torque starter so you only need to bump the key to fire the car. (not hold)

THIS STUFF MAY SEEM SMALL OR NOT SIGNIFICANT. BUT I TRY TO EXPRESS EVERYTHING SO YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOUR GETTING. CAR LOOKS LIKE PICTURES AND ARE DATED.  I ALWAYS GET THUMBS UP OR COMPLIMENTS. SO WILL YOU.

This is still a driver car so please expect driver paint or nicks as a driver would have. Paint is not new.  Cars are suppose to be driven not baby sat.  Cruise night classic car.
