Current customer rating:
1971 Plymouth 'Cuda restomod original 383. since 2006 its been powered by a 528 Hemi built by me with the help of Mopar Performance. Dick Landy Inc. Clark's machine shop and others.
The 'Cuda is very drive able and VERY fun to drive at that. The engine has the impressive hemi rumpity rump. With the 5 speed Tremec the car can easily cruise at 65 mph at approximately 1. 00 rpms. The car runs on a mixtures of premium fuel and 100 octane race gas. It can get 13-14 mpg or better on the highway.
The engine runs the Shaker hood system which sits on a 1050 Holley Dominator with the M-1 Mopar high rise intake.
The ignition is MSD electronic.
Transmission is the Tremec TKO 600 5 speed with Quicktime steel bellhousing.
Brakes are manual with disc up front and the original drums in the rear. upgraded disc with the Right Stuff kit.
The body is strengthened with rear heavy duty torque boxes and frame connectors.
Exhaust is TTI headers with electronic cut outs ( Quicktime ) controlled by an underdash switch. Mufflers are Flowmaster 40 series with exhaust through the rear valance and tips.
Rear axle is a Strange Dana 60 with 3:70 gears with Hemi leafs.
Tires are reproduction Goodyear Polyglass from Kelsey tire:
Rears: L 60-15 on 15"x 8" Wheel Vintique Chrysler Rally wheels with 5" back spacing
Front: G 60-15 on 15"x 7"
Wheel Vintique Chrysler Rally wheels with standard off set.
The original AM radio still works ( The Hemi drowns it out at highway speeds ) The Cassette player does not work.

Hillsborough Concours de Elegance 1 st place 2014
Serrano Concours de Elegance Grand Marshall Award 2014
I drove the 'cuda at the Mopar Spring Fling in 2014 in the cruise from Van Nuys to Malibu coast and back on less than half a tank a gas. The gar always starts right up ( mini starter ) and runs and idles great. It is a beast though and very powerful. It will smoke those L 60's at a 40-50 mph roll.
Inspections are welcomed and should be done with any car this old and this costly.
There is so much done to this car its hard to list.
