1969 Mercury Cougar XR 7 .
351 Windsor . Automatic Transmission. Original Interior.
Original Mileage . One repaint. Slight engine upgrade. nothing major(carburetor upgrade)Done while owned by original owner. No Real Rust. Everything works on this very original 69 Cougar. This car was purchased in Florida by the original owner. Then they moved to Colorado. brought the Cougar with them. This car has been garaged her entire life with the exception of the last 10 months. The owner never drove her. and lost his ability to garage her. So he just parked her. He put a for sale sign up and I happened to be cruising by. I went through the car head to toe and was amazed that this was a numbers matching

XR 7. The original owner some time ago threw the after market wheels on. which I don't care for and switched the exhaust. He also had her repainted. and then it sat only to be started every week. This is a great car. and a amazing find. I couldn't pass her up. nor could I let her just sit and rot away. The gentleman was getting up there in age. and I'm certain this car would have died. Everything works. Even the A/C. The head light covers come up after a while due to a small air leak some where. but a very easy fix. She's not perfect. but for a 1969 Cougar she's pretty close. Whether you want to restore her to perfection or slap some wheels on and cruise. she will definitely get you were you need to go.
