Unique Volvo Sport P1900 convertible! This is Volvo's only fiberglass sports car.

Good drivers condition. original B14 engine and 3-speed gearbox (numbers checked with Volvo Heritage). Runs nice and smooth. This is a great. fun ride. nothing like some of the stories on the web might make you believe.

One small ding in the paint at the backside.

Original spare wheel included.

Carpet is original. but protected by covers as after 58 years it is quite worn.

This is chassis number 42 of 68 P1900's made. Originally delivered in Sweden in June. 1956. it has been in a Swiss museum before being imported to the Netherlands 10 years ago. The P1900 is one of the most sought-after Volvo's out there. Its value is only rising! Right now there are 2 other P1900's for sale in Europe. priced around $125. 000. in comparable condition.

This car is extremely hard to find. especially in this fine. driving. condition.

This specific P1900 is driven regularly and well-cared for. Anyone who has had the pleasure to get a ride on this car was surprised by its fun and smooth ride. The quality problems that were reported in manufacturing this car do not reflect in the ride at all.

So. why do I want to sell this wonderful P1900? I don't. However. when buying the P1900 we did not have any children. now we have two. which means we can not go for a spin with the family. I would like to buy a nice classic that will hold all four. and unfortunately I will have to sell the P1900 in order to do that. That's also the reason I am pricing it lower than other P1900's for sale - I do not need to make a profit on it. I just want to buy another classic.

A car of this age is not MOT-required in the Netherlands. however it passed easily when it still was. a couple of years ago.
