Only 1758 units of this model were built in 1948 . This was a frame off restoration and completed this year. The car is old school on the exterior but has all the modern comforts of a new car inside.

I have had some questions about the car:The convertible top is manual with helper springs. One person can lower and raise it easily. The cowl vent is electric with a push button controller to raise and lower the cowl vent door. The turn signals and park lights are concealed behind the lower horizontal bar grill. Door poppers are for the doors only. The hood and trunk are on cable pulls. The handles are on the drivers side kick panel. Cables for the trunk are concealed in the frame rail. How do you enter the car if you lock your keys in it? I have installed a concealed door popper with easy access under the car. There is also a battery stud bar under the car to jump start or activate the door popper if needed. Coil over shocks are adjustable and there is one shock per wheel.
