A genuine opportunity to purchase a legend to restore over the winter months. Very rare and original!
MOT until June 2015 with no advisory items.
The W 123 300 D is the original million mile car. built to last and you can even get high mileage grill badges/certificate from Mercedes. although there is some way to go yet in this one at just 89000 genuine miles.
Complete car in good condition but with areas of localized rust/scabs the worst being the rear valance and the OSF wing and rear NSR wing bottom. Interior near perfect with the exception of the carpet sides. Needs a good strip back and repaint in our opinion. All panels/parts required to complete are easily available.
From a few feet the car presents very well indeed with mostly original paint. excellent panel fit/shut lines and sits perfectly straight. Drives very well no problems with box/engine but does need a service. Our driver drove the car to us over 400 miles.
4 former keepers on the v 5 but last three the same keeper. changed due to becoming disabled and also to remove private number plate. Still wearing its supplying dealer number plates and with original first aid kit.
A gift at £2990 with mint examples around the £10. 00 mark.
