My career was as an automotive technician in dealerships and Saab was one of the cars I worked on and previously owned .
I bought this car a few years ago to renew and have for my later years.
There was nothing wrong with this car when I bought it - just age.
It has been well maintained. with replacement of parts for normal wear and tear - I replaced trim tape on bumpers. new tires - Pirelli P 4's (has transferable warranty). brakes. shocks. water pump. all belts and hoses. a/c compressor. new pressure plate(Sachs). throwout. rubber bevel trim around dash gauges/controls. headlights w/hyper yellow bulbs. & replaced convertible top fabric w/rear window defroster.
Updates included - painting the bumpers black (made the car look sharper). found and purchased the original radio/cassette w/equalizer. now has original hardtop tonneau cover w/bag. along with new fog lamps w/covers.
I also have all original owner manuals w/case and also a new factory Saab First-aid kit and Bentley Service Manual.
The car has heated seats and mirrors. along with power windows and top.
All are in working order.
It has an updated PCM and fuel injectors which weren't installed so much for performance but for better fuel mileage.
It also has a new fuel regulator.
It is stored in the garage in winter. and has only had 6000 miles put on it since I bought it in 2011.
I found this car in the southwest part of US and it has never seen snow.
I have complete mechanical records for the car. and am the 3 rd owner of the car.
The only reason I'm selling my car is because I had neck surgery. and in the process it damaged my ulnar nerve which caused severe nerve pain in my right hand which makes it very uncomfortable to shift the car.
Needless to say. selling this car has become very personal for me.
I believe that anyone who buys this car will be very happy with it.
