Up for sale is a rare 1977 244 GL/X. This was a special model introduced to provide more luxury than a standard 244 DL in 1977.

This car has received a full restoration and refurbishment by a Volvo enthusiast. The work that has been done includes:

Reconditioned original B 21 E 4 cylinder. fuel injected engine - new rings. bearings. timing belt and second hand head. All new gaskets and seals fitted.

New water pump and cooling system overhaul.

Full brake system overhaul including all new seals to wheels. new master cylinder. reconditioned brake block. New pads all round.

Tailshaft reconditioned.

New tyres all round (all matching).

Full respray in original green metallic.

Interior reconditioned with BRAND NEW LEATHER seat facings (looks and smells awesome).

Air conditioning recommissioned and upgraded. Works well even on hot days.

Transmission serviced and new seals fitted.

Lots of small things repaired or replaced to bring car back to original spec.

The car drives like a Volvo from the 70-s should. It has all the safety features from the time.

Will be reliable for many years to come.
