Buick Wildcats are known for their interesting blend of performance and comfort. They factory engines produced more than ample power. and they were actually smaller than a lot of other big offerings on the market at the time. This means a sharper ride.

Two door '64 coupes are considered the pick of the bunch among enthusiasts. All Wildcats are solid examples of brilliant 1960s GM engineering. and they are very practical to own. Original examples such as this particular one. rarely turn up in the market today. They do however represent a great value in the classic car market.

Our buyer in the states picked up this one owner. original Wildcat with 58. 00 original miles. Enthusiasts will spot the factory hub caps and an all original interior in great shape. The original owners manual is still in the glove box. Not bad for a fifty year old classic.

With what you would expect from a well-engineered car. it has air-conditioning. power steering and power brakes. The brakes have been rebuilt. and a new master-cylinder was installed. Driving this cat is a breeze.

However the most notable factory option is the 465 big block. which was the largest displacement version of the popular Nailhead V8. The 465 big block got its name from the amount of torque it produced.
