Hello My name is Doris. /p>

I'm a Series One Sunbeam Alpine. I was manufactured on the 26th February 1960 and then I was shipped out to America. where I spent many years. cruising around California.   On the 28th April 1992 I returned to England with all my original body panels and I was rust free.

My present owner purchased me in 1988. at the time I had been part restored and converted to right hand drive. She then spent lots of time and money on my shiny new makeup.   In 1988 I had a complete re-spray and all my chrome was redone.   I also had a new wiring loom. new rubbers throughout. new brake pipes and hoses. a complete new interior with a double duck hood. and much more…  My engine is original. but it has had the big ends replaced. a new head gasket. new distributor and clutch.   I have recently been serviced and M. O. T'd.

At the Golden Age of 54 I can still turn heads and remember the day I won a first prize trophy from The British Owners Club Essex (2000).    For my age I have a small rust bubble on my bonnet and a few minor blemishes on my paint work.   I have been extremely loved by my present owner. but due to her busy schedule she finds it hard to give me the love I truly deserve.
