The '70 s were a wacky. wonderful time for high-performance cars. and nobody did high-impact muscle better than Chrysler. So if it's attention you're craving. check out this 1972 Plymouth Roadrunner. complete with Sublime paint. a Go-Wing. and a ton of options inside.

The "fuselage" styling has aged pretty well. still looking futuristic and rounded with aggressively flared fenders. Of course. painting anything Sublime green is simply asking for attention. but it's fortunate that this car looks as good as it does if all those folks are going to be staring at it. According to our records. this car has spent its entire life in Georgia. which means clean living and that's always kind on the sheetmetal. As a result. the flanks are smooth. the doors fit well. and there are no bubbles under the black vinyl top. The paint is recent and looks fantastic rendered in modern materials that duplicate the color but give it a shine that was impossible 40 years ago. The hood is dressed up with cool '340' inserts and a fresh stripe kit that's a big part of the look. and a satin black wing out back ties it all together. Both the front and rear bumpers seem to echo each other in their shape. and with bright chrome and nicely polished stainless trim. the car has a great look.

Inside. the interior got a mild makeover that's both period-perfect and ready to cater to serious drivers. Buckets and a console make it a desirable car. but the multi-colored inserts on the door panels and doors add a touch of '70 s flash. Heck. the car's logo is a cartoon bird. a bit of fun with the disco era is definitely welcome! A genuine Tuff Wheel frames the original gauges. and the dash itself. along with the console. has been wrapped in matching black upholstery fabric. This one also packs factory A/C. power steering and brakes. as well as an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo head unit in the dash. so cruising is a genuine pleasure. Revised styling also included a large. usable trunk. which carries a full-sized spare and jack assembly.

The engine is beautifully detailed. and somehow that contrast between Sublime green paint and the Hemi Orange engine always looks incredible. They paid attention to the details when it went together. including a correct air cleaner with reproduction decals. and it shows very little use since it was finished because it's immaculate under the hood. Long-tube headers appear to be the lone deviation from stock equipment along with the all-new Flowmaster exhaust system. The 727 Torque Flite 3-speed automatic is bulletproof and in the Road Runner. offers quick reflexes and relaxed cruising. so you can drive it every day without penalty. Polished Torque Thrust wheels wear 215/65/15 front and wide 245/60/15 rear tires. which fill those wheelwells perfectly.

TERMS OF SALE

1. Per the e Bay User Agreement. by placing a bid you are entering into a legally binding contract and are committed to purchasing the vehicle described above. The details of this commitment are further outlined in the e Bay User Agreement.

2. Vehicle may be sold by Streetside Classic Cars prior to the end of the auction. Streetside Classic Cars reserves the right to end its auctions early or to cancel bids solely at its discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.

3. The winning bidder is required to contact Streetside Classic Cars within 24 hours after the close of the auction to finalize the details of the transaction.

4. A $1. 00 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction's close.

This deposit reserves the vehicle and removes it from the market. Acceptable payment types for deposit are: credit card. wire transfer. cashier's check. and money order.

5. If winning bidder does not contact Streetside Classic Cars and submit deposit within 48 hours of auction close. vehicle may be made available to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer on a first come. first serve basis.

6. Streetside Classic Cars has represented this vehicle to the best of its ability. Prospective bidders are encouraged to contact us directly to provide additional information or answer any questions.

7. Please be aware that all pre-owned vehicles. regardless of age. mileage. or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. Streetside Classic Cars encourages bidder to have a personal inspection completed prior to delivery to help ensure your satisfaction. Third party inspections are to take place prior to a vehicles shipment or delivery.

8. All vehicles are sold "AS IS" and with no warranties expressed or implied.

9. Final or winning bid price does not include shipping. tax. title. or registration fees. It is the purchaser's responsibility to provide for any state or local taxes and shipping expenses resulting from the sale.

10. We can assist you in delivery through our network of private and commercial carriers. Most of them can deliver the vehicle to your driveway. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper's custody.

11. Streetside Classic Cars bears no liability and shall be held harmless for any complications. expenses. or damages resulting from a failure to meet these terms as they have been set forth and established herein.

12. An additional documentation fee of $199 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale.
