I'm selling this Sherwood Green 1966 Jaguar 3. 8 S-Type auto on behalf of a friend who bought this thinking he had more time than he actually has ! Reality has struck and he has now gone and bought a 'ready to go version'
The car would appear to have been off the road since 1999 as that is the last tax disc in the window.
As the fuel pump was stuck we interrupted the fuel supply at the carburettors and started it up. The engine sounds good (a 3. 8) with no smoke and was maintaining good oil pressure (45 psi hot).
Brakes are non existent. the pedal goes to the floor.
The chrome work is very poor.
The interior has a mixture of
Good points are it has 2 new factory wings fitted. along with new rear wheel arches.
There is no doubt there is a lot of work to do.

Is this car still for sale? It’s my grandads car and he registered it in May 1966. I’ve been looking for it for some time now! I’m so excited and emotional to see it again.
