1949 Packard Victoria Model 2379 Super 8 convertible. Low milage original.

A pristine. preservation class Packard Victoria convertible from our personal collection; All original. low milage and limited production survivor. Absolutely rock solid 1949 Packard model 2379 Victoria convertible. nbsp;under 33. 00 miles on a "Box A" documented Arizona title.  Originally purchased in Alburquerque New Mexico. currently enjoyed as an Arizona native. This Victoria convertible has been within a climate controlled environment throughout its entire life.

Previously owned by a retired Air Force colonel (An elderly linguist. currently in his 90's) from Alburquerque New Mexico for over fifty years. Always a well cherrished Packard and wonderfully maintained. Carefully driven. nbsp;with periodic celebrity appearances in Alburquerque parades. *Very interestingly*. the convertible top had not been down during the prior ownership. for over forty-one years! The Caveat: The original two tone leather interior is in stunningly excellent condition. like none other. The original woven wool floor carpeting (Within the trunk as well) is in excellent condition also. It is a truly amazing Packard! There has been one two stage repaint. nbsp;to the original Matador Maroon color. It shows wonderful and still maintains a deep shine. New windshield. All glass is very good. The body is laser straight and has absolutely no rust issues at all. Bright work and bumpers are in very good to excellent condition. The frame and undercarriage show all original (Very clean. not detailed or spray painted) and are absolutely rock solid. No evidence of any current or prior issues.  The floor pans. under the doors and under the rocker panels. inside the quarter panels. including all the original body mounts are in excellent condition. The trunk looks as it left the showroom with excellent original carpeting. spare and original jack assembly.  Rock solid with original spray coating. Bid with confidence. This is a very high quality. nbsp;investment grade. preservation Packard Victoria 2379 convertible.  "It's difficult to find the great ones"! Comparably. the "Buy it Now" price is an extremely reasonable one for this quality classic Packard.

All the power hydraulics are newly rebuilt. Receipts inclusive. New Hydro-E rebuilt motor. nbsp;all new pistons. soft hoses and rubber.  The power windows. top and seat work like new.  All original gauges are clear and function as they should. New battery. I removed the radiator and had it professionally redone by Performance in Phoenix. The water distribution tube taken out and thouroughly cleaned and in great shape. A new water pump installed.  New hoses and belt. Rebuilt carburetor and a fresh tune up. Gas tank was cleaned and reinstalled. There is an inline electric fuel pump on the frame rail. nbsp;which activates with a push button under the dash. for easy starting.  Engine has great oil pressure and is so quite. you do not hear it running! Optional electromatic (Red pedal) clutch with overdrive transmission. Complete brake job with new brake cylinders and rubber brake lines. The front suspension is very tight and drives straight as it should. You can tell this is a very low milage car. for the way it drives is truly excellent. Original rubber door sills are in great shape. The steering wheel had a cover on it for many years. It is like brand new. horn button and ring as well. The engine compartment looks very nice and is neatly original in appearance. nbsp;with a mild patina. (It looks great. never been spray painted) Radio actually works. The tan Hartz canvas top is in very good condition with a clear rear window.
