I have a 1956 Desoto in pretty good condition below are the good and the bad
Good
330 Hemi it does run needs the heads rebuilt. guy before me ran it on regular gas and burned the valves
2 speed auto pushbutton not sure if works but I drove it into my garage.
rebuilt carb
good hoses
all the electric I see is ok
newer fuel tank and clean lines
e brake works
whitewall tires
dash is amazing looking
seats are perfect not even blemishes
head liner is fantastic
carpet is perfect no wear
duel exhaust
body is in pretty good shape no accidents that can be found
trim chrome looks great
the bad
needs battery
heads need rebuilt
needs rust repair ( aggressive patina)
needs truck pan
needs passenger side lower wheel cyl for brakes to be bleed. brakes will work but it leaks like crazy $60 new at any part store or $15-40 on ebay.
That's it to my knowledge. This is a amazing car
