1936 Packard Super Eight Five Passenger Coupe Model 1405 for sale

This complete coupe has been undergoing a complete professional restoration. which is quite far along. and which was stopped in November 2013.
The engine. transmission and mechanicals. and radiator. have been rebuilt and are in place in the car.
The wood has been professionally replaced with ash and multiply marine Baltic birch ply.
We were fitting the glass into the doors and body when the worked ended.
Completing the restoration is available to the new owner. if he so choses. I would be surprised if this really beautiful coupe. many of whcih were sacrificed for convertables. will remain unfinished. or unsold.
The car will needs chrome plating. painting. and upholstery.
The perfecting of body work is nearly complete throughout. except the trunk lid needs attaching to the wood. and running boards need to be fabricated. All glass. lifters and riser mechanisms. seat frames and mechanicals are in/with the car. as are seven wire wheels. sidemount covers. and replacement begging tires. All handles. garnish moldings. and trim parts are with the car. The upholstery is in poor condition. but the seat frames are restored. and the seat springs have been saved to assist the upholsterer. but probably should be replaced as well (They are nearly 80 years old).
In a similar offering. a 1935 Super Eight version of this car is also offered in another auction. now running.
The two cars were being restored by a single customer. and the 1935 version is virtually identical. except for the vertical rather than sloped grill.

NOTE!!!!! There has been no milage since rebuilding (I had to enter some number. so I made this up to get an entry) and although there is no title for this car. I will assist in obtaining a restoration title (previous experience in this).
