1976 Porsche,911s, Targa, Strosek , Slantnose, Widebody for sale
Current customer rating: (428 votes ) based onHere I have for sale a 76 Porsche 911s with a STROSEK widebody kit from Germany. and updated Porsche wheels. This car is very solid. no rust or rot . This car screams 80's. early 90's ! It looks amazing and gets attention anywhere you go. I bought this car from Dr. Terry Bennett. It was in his private auto collection of hundreds of rare and unusual cars. He has had a few very largely publicized auto auctions over the last decade to fund medical school scholarships at Harvard. The car has recently been serviced & gone through and received all four new rubber brake lines. brake pads. calipers cleaned up. new fuel pump. new fuel filter. new spark plugs. cap & rotor. points. oil & filter. valve adjustment. new tires with less than 500 miles. It looks & runs great !! It is a pretty well sorted car with a few minor things to be worked out. There are no windshield washer sprayers on the cowl panel. the speedo just stopped working. Not sure if its the cable or the electronic part at the back of the speedo. Radio doesn't work. I just listen to the engine music anyways. Front hood struts are blown. has to be propped up. The paint looks great with the exception of a few very minor flaws. On the pass side rear quarter panel where the fiberglass wide fender was bonded. there is a small section on the seam where it has little cracks. Not terrible. see pics. There are some other minor chips & nicks in a few other spots on the car. Just mentioning because it's not Mint and I don't want anyone expecting that. Overall . this is a very nice . solid early 911 that has an updated look & goes great ! According to the previous owner . the motor was rebuilt and updated when the body kit was done. The 2. 7L has the chain tensioner updates. BOV update also. There are headers on this motor. there are no heat exchangers . thermal reactors or cats. It sounds great and really opened up the restrictive exhaust without being terribly loud. The motor is very clean & dry. Not leaking everywhere. This car has A/C. but the newer compresser conversion & all the brackets are removed for looks & power savings. I have all the parts. When the body kit was done they added the optional Strosek gauge package. there has only been a little over 3k since. The car had 100k according to the previous owner when this kit was done. This car shows as a low mileage car. I am only selling this car because I have a kid who is off to college. These early 911's are climbing every year in value. Get a rare & unique one while you can still afford one. I'm listing this car with no reserve so bid to win !!!! Please ask all questions before bidding. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. Thanks
