MG Metro 6R4 2.5L Rally Car - Part Ex Considered for sale

I am offering for the sale on behalf of a customer his MG Metro 6 R 4 Rally car.
This car has been rebuilt into one of the last six shells from Austin Rover and used to compete in the UK Time Attack Championships.
Used for three seasons this car achieved a 3 rd. 2 nd and 1 st in the championship fitted with a 3. 0 L International V 64 V.
However. it is offered for sale here with a rally eligible 2. 5 L V 64 V 6 R 4 engine producing 340+bhp.
This engine has been removed from a sister car and still holds the lap Record at the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power for any rally/saloon car.
Mark Higgins attempt in the Isle of Man recording breaking Subaru fell short of what this engine achieved!!!
The car is fitted with many 6 R 4. com mechanical and electronic upgrades such as:
Motec ECU with twin lambda control. sequential injection and ignition. coil on plug. etc.
Motec Shift Light module.
Choice of Dog or Syncro gearbox.
Choice of 35/65 or 25/75 centre diff
Natural frequency balanced suspension set up.
Electric water system.
Electric Hydraulic Power Steering and works spec straight steering arms.
Latest lightweight wide track wheel set up.
Motordrive FIA Seats and TRS Belts - In date.
V 5 logbook and MSA Rally Logbook.
Test rides available at £250/mile refundable on purchase of vehicle (min 10 miles at private testing facility).
Or bring along a car of equivalent or greater value for us to test and we will waive the fee.
We may consider breaking the car starting with the absolute bare shell and logbook.
The shell is in mint condition and is offered with logbook at £15. 00.
