It has some rust underneath. Although the tires have barely been used since fitted, the rubber looks a bit old because of it being parked in a dusty garage for so long (10 years). Since the Perkins engine (new when fitted) was fitted. it has done about 50 thousand miles. Over the years it has been used to tow a horse box we used to own. a boat. fully loaded trailers. and used for trips and holidays out with family and friends.
It has been driven to England from Portugal a couple of times. Over the years we have had a few funny adventures with it and have often been pulled over by the police. not to see if the papers were in order. but just out of interest and curiosity. It has also been victim of several attemps of break in but so far. only once was successful.
The local fire station has expressed an interest in it and tried to buy it but at the time it was not for sale because there was a lot of nostalgia involved with it. These days. thanks to my fathers retirement. it seeks a new home and that is why it has been put up for sale.
The vehicle is currently uninsured and without MOT.
