Daimler SP 250 Dart
This A Specification Daimler SP 250 Dart was first registered on 25 th March 1960. It's still in its original colour of ivory and wearing its original registration number YUU 98 with only five owners from new and still with its buff logbook.
The interior is in tan with beige carpets and a wood-rim Moto Lita steering wheel. There is a vinyl hood in white. a hood cover and a full tonneau in white too. In addition. there is a factory. body-coloured hardtop in excellent order.
Its history shows that it received a full respray in 1989. which still looks very smart today. as well as a gearbox rebuild. More recently it has benefited from the popular steering rack conversion to replace the original box. It wears its original hub caps and has a new set of Toyo radials.
Overall the body is smart. the chassis is solid and the interior is nice condition with a lovely patina. The Turner-designed 2. 5-litre V 8 starts instantly and runs smoothly with plenty of power and excellent acceleration.
The car has a good history file with numerous bills for work carried out. along with Mo T certificates going back to 1971.
Overall our Dart is a very original car in a nice. usable condition. Darts have appreciated considerably over the last few years making this example excellent value for money.
