Restored over a seven year period of ownership. the vendor presents this car in authentic coach painted lemon/black livery. the engine. brakes. dynamo. clutch upholstery. and wiring have all been restored. overhauled or renewed. Four new "Michelin" (Comfort) tires + one spare. MOT and Road TAX is free. insurance around £130. 00 per year.

Engine type: Thermo-siphon water cooled in line 4 cylinder - 856 cc- side valve. 2 doors. 2 seats.

Profile: This Citroen 5 CV (French fiscal rating of 5 horsepower) Type "C" model was made between 1922 until 1926 - proved to be inexpensive to run and extremely maneuverable. met with swift success which put an end to the brief reign of "cycle cars" popular at the time. Numerous mechanical and coachwork parts were made of light alloys (sumps and casings etc) it was also on this model that there appeared the ignition system using a battery and a rotary plate (distributor). which was the forerunner of many devices still in present use.
