This beauty from 1973 was a gift by husband for my 40th birthday. And it was love at first sight. It's in great shape. the engine is sound. just cleaned and tuned and runs perfectly. I had her for 6 years with no major trouble. She gets great mileage and is low maintenance. I've driven her very little - actually - as did previous owner. The seats are original covers. with a little wear on the edge of drivers seat.

I've taken good care of her with regular check ups. oil and tire changes by my French mechanic. He says. this car will run forever. He was up keeping it before me and we have kept it in great shape with upgrades when needed. It has disc brakes and hydraulic system.

She comes with brand new vinyl top (not in picture). fairly new front tires and even little speakers if you want to add sound system.   Engine is running perfectly.

She attracts lots of attention and thumbs ups.

I can't take her out about town without a few chatting me up. sharing stories of the good ol' day of driving across Europe or North Africa in a 2CV or wanting to know everything about her. The worst question was always how is the mileage. because I'm not the type to care with the little driving I do. Suffice to say. she gets great mileage. Have given her premium fuel since day one.

Some rust is beginning to show on exterior. as I guess is expected for this lady. The only main trouble. is the floor by right passenger seat. it needs a bit of rust work. I had it looked at by mechanic who says easy fix and not so expensive. I can possibly get this done before you take car over.  

Ultimately. this car will be perfect for someone who will LOVE her and eventually like to shine her up. just so. with new paint job.

I have all the paper work as far back as Europe owners who bought it in Germany and shipped it to the U. S in 2006. receipts for all work done. bill of sales etc.

A fantastic car. Heartbroken to see her go. and only selling because I'm moving overseas.
