British 68 triumph spitfire convertible (arroyo city Texas)
condition: good
long story short lost my job i really hate to let her go but i have bills so. paid 4 k for her.
2 k on parts work letting her go for a quick sale. she is a beauty.
up for sale 1968 triumph spitfire. run drives good. turns alot of heads. registration and inspection up to date. ready to hit the road great car if you want attention. good beach cruiser. this. many upgrades. she was my daily driver to my job 42 miles one way. never gave me probs. turns heads everywhere i go. ive had ppl honk at me. great beach cruiser.
new tires. electronic ignition conversion. weber carbs. new master cylinder. gm alternator. doesn't burn oil. ist goes on. purrs like a kitten.
gets about 30 mpg. handles great. changed brake pads. front brake lines. new fuel pump. changed trunnions on pass side.
no visible rust. a few dings nothing big. speedo cable broke on me last week. spitbits. com sells it for 12 bucks. tach doesnt work. when i converted to pertox electronic ignition. it didnt have the cable drive attachments like the orgiinal. top needs changing.
UPDATE: HAD A FEW PEOPLE ASK. WHEN I BOUGHT IT FROM AN ELDERLY COUPLE IN NEBRASKA. THEY TOLD ME IT HAD 2000 MILES ON A REBUILT ENGINE.
