Here is my lovely trans am she is as solid as a rock you will struggle to find a better car for the price. you will not have to spend out on this car.
as you can see in the pictures in great condition you don't have to do anything to the car just enjoy the v 8 burble. she certainly turns heads everywhere i take her.
i have done quite a bit to the car since i bought it the correct year gm decal set in triple blue what looks the best !
and also new reproduction seat covers. i have fitted proper snowflakes for the factory look.
it is the desirable 78 model has a 400 ci engine that is from a earlier 72 pontiac gto so has the better 300 hp. with a mild street cam fitted so i am told it certainly does go well and sounds lovely you can not beat that sound of a big v 8 it is like music to your ears ! normal 78's with 400's in had 185 hp so this one is well worth having.
i have just put a rochester quadrajet reconditioned carb back on it looks band new and runs a treat. does better mpg than the holley that came off also until you open up the massive secondary's
what a sound that makes!!! lovely.
recent all fluids changed and plugs changed. since i changed the carb i have noticed its is better on fuel if you dont go pedal to the metal all the time !
the alternator is new and the mini starter has just been overhauled. new brake pads.
wheel bearing. no expense spared the car has a huge file of history with it also all the mots it has been pampered most of its life and well looked after and low mileage as the mot's prove. she has a b&m shifter fitted but i also have the standard shifter if you prefer.
the car feels tight to drive not sloppy like some can be and i will be sad to see her go but i could do with some funds for other things. i would like to get another cheaper car maybe a 3 rd gen trans am/ firebird/ camaro v 8.
i don't have to sell so no clowns or dreamers with no money who want a ride or stupid offers please.
if you know anything about good trans am's you know what they go for. i have priced it sensibly.
